Pre-dawn San Francisco from Mt Tam
The traditional San Francisco Easter Morning Ride has been going on since the ‘70s. Get up (or never go to bed) at 3 in the morning to meet your friends at a gas station at 4. To meet up with even more riders at another gas station in Tam Junction at 5. Then it’s off for a brisk ride through the fog to Mt. Tam’s East Peak in order to catch the sunrise. Hopefully someone contacted the rangers to open the gate early. If not, contingency plan time…
Originally a Brit bike ride started by Mean Marshall and friends, all bikes are welcome. But many a vintage or exotic bike make the trek.
